The Quick Profit Scalping Trading Strategy

The Quick Profit Scalping Trading Strategy

The Quick Profit is a simple trading strategy that brings good profit on small timeframes. It includes effective indicators included in the standard forex set. Despite the fact that the indicators included in its composition are rarely used in short-term trading, in the Quick Profit strategy they perform the function of trading on small time intervals, without losing any of its properties.

The strategy can work using any currency pairs, however, as mentioned earlier, the time frame should be small, and minute time frames can be considered the best option. Therefore, it should be extremely careful in trading with the help of a strategy, since it is have to carefully monitored the chart all the trading day and be ready to open a position at any moment without missing an opportunity.

Strategy indicators

The strategy includes three time-tested indicators, which, by interacting with each other, allow finding the optimal entry point into the market. At the same time, three moving averages are used as one indicator.

  • EMA(25) - fast exponential moving average, the period of which is set to 25.
  • EMA(50) - exponential moving average with a period of 50.
  • EMA(100) - slow exponential moving average with a period of 100.
  • Parabolic SAR - technical indicator for market analysis.
  • MACD - indicator of the technical analysis of the trend and its strength in the current market. Its settings remain unchanged, that is, equal to 12,26,9.

Trading with the strategy

In order to open a position in a certain direction using the Quick Profit strategy, it should be extremely careful taking into account the values of all indicators included in its composition. Since the strategy was created for use on small timeframes, it should be taken into account that trades will be made in a short time, and in one trading day there may be several opportunities to open trades in different directions.

Conditions for Buy trades:

  • Moving averages should cross so that the fast one is on top, the average is behind it, and the slow one is below.
  • The signal candle, without touching the moving ones, should close above the channel created by them.
  • At this point, the Parabolic SAR dots should be below the price.
  • The histogram of the MACD indicator, together with its signal line, should rise above the zero level.

After obtaining such a channel from moving averages, taking into account other conditions, a long position can be opened on the candle formed after the signal one. Stop Loss should be set in the amount of a local minimum, or slightly below the slow moving average.

Conditions for Sell trades:

  • Exponential moving averages after crossing each other create a channel. At the same time, EMA (100) is on top, and EMA (25) is below, and between them is EMA (50).
  • The price, without intersecting with any of them, closes below the MA channel.
  • Parabolic SAR is located above the price.
  • MACD indicator falls below its zero level.

Upon receipt of such conditions, a short position may be opened on the candle after the signal one, which should be closed upon receipt of the opposite conditions, as this is considered as an opportunity to open new transactions. When closing a trade, it should be taken into account that the closing price was higher than the previous maximum. Stop loss is equal to the size of the previous local maximum or a small distance from the EMA(25).
