History of Swissquote
The company Swissquote Group Holding Ltd. was established and registered on the SIX Swiss Exchange in May 2000. The broker gained access to the Swiss Stock Exchange as well as to the NASDAQ, US NYSE, and AMEX exchanges in 2001. Within a few years, in 2005, Swissquote launched online bond trading features for its clients. In September 2013, the company secured a place in the international financial market by obtaining MIG Bank.
With Swissquote, traders are eligible to use company’s proprietary "Advanced Trader" and the standard MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms.
